The New Tax Regime is now far more attractive after Budget 2025. With zero tax up to ₹12.75L (salaried) and lower slab rates up to ₹24L, many taxpayers benefit even without deductions.
The Old Tax Regime slabs are unchanged since FY 2022-23. It may still benefit those with very high deductions — full 80C ₹1.5L, large HRA, NPS ₹50K, home loan interest ₹2L, and 80D ₹25K+.
